Services for Parents

Empowering you to be your child’s guide.

I support parents who are ready to build stronger, more connected relationships with their autistic child. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, unsure of what to try next, or simply want a more meaningful way to support your child’s development—you're in the right place.

How We’ll Work Together

Step 1:

Free Discovery Call (30 minutes)

Let’s start with a conversation. I’ll learn about your family’s journey so far, answer any questions you have, and share how RDI might help. No pressure—just a space to connect and explore what’s possible.

Step 2:

Family Assessment & Getting Started

Our first step in working together is a comprehensive family assessment. This helps us understand your child’s developmental profile and how your family experiences day-to-day interactions. It includes:

  • A detailed parent questionnaire

  • Guided video submissions of natural parent-child interactions

  • Personalized developmental goals

  • A feedback session to set a starting point and outline next steps

Step 3:

Ongoing Parent Coaching

This is where the real growth happens. Through regular coaching sessions (online or in-person), I’ll help you:

  • Learn how to guide your child in everyday moments

  • Set clear, individualized goals based on your family’s needs

  • Reflect on video clips to support your growth as a parent guide

  • Adapt and celebrate progress as your child develops

FAQs

Is RDI a good fit for my family?

RDI may be a good fit for your family if:
✔ You want to strengthen your relationship with your autistic child
✔ You’re looking for a respectful, relationship-based approach
✔ You’re open to learning and guiding your child through everyday experiences
✔ You’re ready for long-term, developmental support that meets your child where they are

You don’t need to have a formal diagnosis to begin.

What does Consultant-in-Training mean?

A Consultant-in-Training (CIT) has completed the initial 12 weeks of coursework and has moved into the supervision phase of training.

During this phase, they work with families under the watchful eye of a training supervisor. Once CITs enter supervision, they are qualified to begin working with families and charging professional fees for their services. Working with a CIT provides the client with clinical services by an RDI trained practitioner and provides the added benefit of an additional watchful eye of a seasoned supervisor.

Are services in-person or remote?

I offer in-person services to families in the Greater Victoria, BC area, and remote support to families across British Columbia and beyond. All coaching sessions are available online for maximum flexibility and accessibility for families.

What is the investment?

Working with an RDI® Consultant is a long-term investment in your child’s development and your family’s well-being.

I offer flexible, individualized support. We’ll discuss rates and package options during your free consultation, based on your family’s goals and needs. In British Columbia, RDI services are billable through Autism Funding under Behaviour Intervention.
